BowTech Archery

Purpose

In 2011, BOWTECH Archery enlisted Alday Communications to grow the company’s editorial placements in outdoor and hunting publications as well as industry trade media focused towards archery shop owners and operators. While BOWTECH was producing innovative, industry-leading product, it wanted to improve its success in placing those new products into target media publications. The company’s secondary brands, Diamond and Octane, also needed an increase in publicity placements.

Process

ACI leveraged its extensive contacts in outdoor media to grow the visibility of BOWTECH and its secondary brands. ACI assisted in trade show relations, new product launches, media hunt coordination and communications efforts surrounding industry events.

Results

Because of the media relationships and wide-ranging publicity approach implemented by ACI, BOWTECH and its brands have seen their media placements grow every year since 2011, with the brands receiving a 60 percent increase in placements over that span and a 41 percent increase in total impressions. BOWTECH continues to be a sales leader in the industry and continues to expand its product offerings across its various brand platforms.
